Have you ever walked into an old church and seen stained glass windows inside so beautiful they take your breath away, or passed a pub and liked their decorative etched glass windows?

Here at Victoria Glass Design we’re passionate about preserving the traditional skills of the leaded light (stained glass window) and Victorian etched glass maker. We also stock a wide range of bevelled surround mirrors, which we can hand decorate with leaded features if you wish.

Additionally, Victoria Glass Design offer the following services:

We can supply toughened safety glass for windows and table tops in order to comply with current building regulations.
Glass and mirrors cut to size.
Repair of domestic glass breakages.
Misted up double glazed units replaced.

There are many attractions and amenities on the doorstep including the promenade, boating lake and beach, a wealth of cafes, restaurants and bars plus a great mix of shops.

Also in close proximity are the world famous Royal Liverpool Golf Club (home to the 2006 and 2014 Open Golf Championship), Liverpool Football Club, Aintree and Chester Race Courses plus the many attractions of North Wales including Llandudno and the Great Orme.

Rooms

Enjoy the luxury of a peaceful night’s sleep in one of our 8 spacious & stylish furnished rooms, thoughtfully designed with your comfort in mind.

21 Park House is a mix of double & twin rooms with a choice of en-suite and private bathroom facilities. Each room has tea & coffee making facilities, TV with Freeview, wireless internet access and an internal phone system.

Available on request are hair driers and irons. We also have extra beds available (for ages 3-14 years) and travel cots (for up to 3 years). Just ask when booking.

Rooms for wheel chair access are available and Special rates apply if the house is taken as a whole.

The Area

West Kirby provides the perfect base for a wide range of leisure activities from bird watching to windsurfing, eating out to the designer label shopping

30 minutes by car to the south lies the historic Roman City of Chester with its complete circular City walls, unique two-tier shopping arcades (The Rows) and original Roman amphitheatre. To the east just 20 minutes away you will find the modern and vibrant City of Liverpool (European City of Culture 2008) with Liverpool One, its new state of the art shopping and leisure complex.

If you prefer something altogether more relaxed you may want to amble out to Hilbre Island at low tide, and spot a few of the birds that nest there.

Our extensive beaches are perfect to blow away the cobwebs or why not explore the west side of the Wirral with its charming highlights such as Hoylake, New Brighton and Parkgate.

West Kirby Lifeboat Station. For 40 years an inshore lifeboat at West Kirby has covered an area off the north west tip of the Wirral peninsula. This station is classed as a Discover station. These stations normally open their boathouse doors during the summer months
